What's Eugenie & Wells?
It's an intersection in Old Town, Chicago. And it was the beginning of a Chicago love story for one gal from Iowa. Eugenie & Wells (literally) was home, and made this Iowan feel comfortable in the city. After years in the communications world, Eugenie & Wells brought her back to locally made, small-batch goods.
Eugenie & Wells began in a Chicago kitchen—a space filled with flickering candles, recycled glass, and the simple joy of making something by hand. What started as an evening experiment quickly became a ritual: melting, mixing, pouring, and watching light take form.
Every candle is hand-poured in small batches, often in vintage or thrifted vessels that carry a story of their own. We source thoughtfully and pour intentionally, giving new life to pieces that might otherwise be forgotten.
At Eugenie & Wells, sustainability isn’t a buzzword; it’s the heartbeat of what we do. We believe beauty and responsibility belong together. Each piece is crafted to be refilled, reused, or reimagined, because good design should never be disposable.
